You hear an amber alert coming from downstairs, you walk down and see your family outside looking up. You walk out and look up, you see a large object that appears to have a fiery tail coming off of it, it is slowing becoming bigger. Then all of a sudden as if the world had a speaker system you hear:

“Almost heaven, West Virginia”

You look around in terror

“Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River.”

Screams begin to echo out around you.

“Life is old there, older than the trees”

People are running from their houses in hysteria.

“Younger than the mountains, growin’ like a breeze”

A singular tear rolls down your cheek.

“Country roads, take me home”

Every single nerve in your body is incinerated, you no longer feel pain. All you do is watch as the meteor strikes the ground.

“To the place I belong”

Your face is seared off, your family is lost to the inferno as the meteor reaches the ground.

“West Virginia, mountain mama”

The shock wave completely obliterates your entire town, leaving nothing behind in its wake.

“Take me home, country roads.”
